Now we are going to arrange the grid in a cross-tab style | then drag and drop the Subcategory header on top of the Metrics header. You can also right-click | Move and select where the field will be pivoted. In this example, it would be To Columns, as shown in the next screenshot:

Manipulation – Page-by

Objective/usefulness: To provide a dropdown that slices the data at certain Attribute level. Proceed as follows:

Open the View menu | Page-by.

You should see a section above the Report template labeled Drop Page Fields Here | drag and drop the Year header into this field (you can also right-click | Move | to Page-by.

Change the dropdown selection of Year to see how the Report's data changes too.
